Agapanthus ‘Ever Couple’ brings together two complementary selections, ‘Ever Sapphire’ and ‘Ever White’, combining the rich blue tones of one variety with the clean white flowers of the other. Growing Guide

Position

Choose a sunny position for the best flowering. Agapanthus can tolerate some light shade, but reduced sunlight may result in fewer flowers. A sheltered spot is particularly useful in colder or exposed Irish gardens.

Watering

Water regularly while establishing. Once established in the ground, Agapanthus generally needs watering mainly during prolonged dry spells. Container-grown plants should be checked more often, especially during warm weather.

Soil

Plant in fertile, well-drained soil. Good drainage is important through Irish winters, as prolonged wet conditions around the roots can affect plant health. Containers should use a free-draining compost.

Routine Care

Remove faded flower stems after flowering to keep the plant tidy. Avoid excessive winter wet, particularly for container plants, and protect pots in colder exposed positions where necessary.

Seasonal Interest
