Bred for a long flowering season and reliable garden performance, it brings vibrant colour and strong architectural form to sunny planting schemes.

Plant Details

Growing Guide

Plant in a sunny, sheltered position with fertile, well-drained soil. Agapanthus performs best in full sun and benefits from excellent drainage, particularly during winter. Water regularly while establishing and during prolonged dry spells, especially when grown in containers.

Feed with a balanced fertiliser during the growing season to encourage strong flowering. Remove spent flower stems after blooming and tidy away any damaged foliage in spring as new growth begins.

Wildlife

The nectar-rich flowers attract bees and other pollinating insects, making Summer Love™ Blue a valuable addition to wildlife-friendly gardens.

Why We Love It

Summer Love™ Blue combines elegant evergreen foliage with abundant blue flower heads over an extended flowering period. Its compact habit and dependable performance make it equally at home in modern courtyard gardens, traditional borders and patio containers.
