Ajuga reptans Black Scallop
Confirmed format: 1 litre pot
Ajuga reptans 'Black Scallop' is a striking semi-evergreen herbaceous perennial valued for its intensely dark, glossy foliage. Forming a low, spreading rosette of creeping stems, it features deeply scalloped leaves in shades of deep purple, bronze and near-black that maintain exceptional colour through the seasons. In May and June, spikes of rich purple-blue flowers emerge, adding a vibrant contrast against the dark foliage. Fully hardy down to −20°C (RHS H7), this compact ground cover is exceptionally easy to grow and brings bold, moody colour to small gardens, borders, rockeries and patio containers.
