Growing Guide

Position

Choose a sunny position with space for the tall flower stems to develop. A sheltered location near a wall, fence or other planting can help protect the stems from strong winds.

Watering

Water regularly while establishing, especially during dry spells. Once settled, water when conditions are particularly dry, with container-grown plants needing closer attention as compost can dry out more quickly.

Soil

Plant in fertile soil that retains some moisture while draining freely. Good drainage is important through wet Irish winters, particularly in heavier soils.

Routine Care
