Anemone Fantasy Series 'Cinderella'
Confirmed supplied format: 2L pot
Plant Highlights: Soft rose-pink flowers with golden centres • Flowers from July to October • Compact, upright habit • Ideal for borders and patio containers • Excellent cut flowers
Anemone 'Fantasy Cinderella' is a compact Japanese windflower bred for an abundance of elegant late-season blooms. From July through to October, sturdy upright stems carry masses of single, soft rose-pink flowers with bright golden-yellow centres above neat clumps of attractive dark green foliage. Its naturally compact growth means it remains tidy throughout the season without the need for staking.
Reaching approximately 50–60 cm in height with a spread of around 40–50 cm, this deciduous perennial is perfectly proportioned for mixed borders, cottage-style planting and larger patio containers. Its long flowering season brings welcome colour when many summer perennials are beginning to fade, while the blooms also make attractive cut flowers for indoor arrangements.
Produces a long-lasting display of soft rose-pink flowers from midsummer into autumn.
Naturally compact habit is ideal for smaller gardens and containers.
Strong flower stems remain upright without regular staking.
Valuable late-season nectar source for bees and other pollinating insects.
Easy to combine with ornamental grasses and other autumn-flowering perennials.

Plant in full sun or partial shade. In warmer or more exposed gardens, partial shade helps maintain consistent soil moisture and prolongs flowering.
Water regularly while establishing and keep the soil evenly moist during prolonged dry periods. Container-grown plants should be checked more frequently during warm weather to prevent the compost from drying out completely.
Grow in fertile, humus-rich, moisture-retentive but well-drained soil. Incorporating organic matter before planting helps retain moisture while maintaining good drainage.
Fully hardy for most Irish gardens. The foliage dies back naturally in autumn before fresh growth emerges in spring. Apply a mulch around the crown in late winter to conserve moisture and improve soil structure, avoiding excessive winter wet around the crown.
Remove faded flowers to encourage continued blooming and cut back old stems once flowering has finished or in early spring before new growth appears. Divide established clumps every few years if they become congested.
Mixed herbaceous and cottage garden borders.
Patio containers and courtyard gardens.
Planting alongside ornamental grasses for autumn displays.
Cutting gardens and fresh floral arrangements.
Pollinator-friendly planting schemes.
As a deciduous perennial, 'Fantasy Cinderella' dies back completely in winter before producing fresh new growth each spring. Once established, it forms a reliable, long-lived clump that returns year after year.
