Overview
Asplenium scolopendrium, commonly known as Hart's Tongue Fern, is a hardy evergreen fern native to Ireland and much of Europe. Unlike the finely divided fronds of many ferns, it produces distinctive glossy, strap-shaped green fronds that create a bold architectural effect throughout the year.
This reliable fern thrives in shaded gardens where its evergreen foliage provides structure and colour in every season. It is particularly effective in woodland planting, beneath trees and shrubs, along shaded pathways and in damp, sheltered borders. Position
