Growing Guide
Plant in fertile, moisture-retentive but well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. Bergenias are adaptable and perform well in a wide range of garden situations, although they appreciate consistent moisture during prolonged dry periods.
Remove faded flower stems after flowering and tidy away any damaged or older leaves in late winter or early spring to keep the plant looking fresh. Apply a mulch annually to help retain soil moisture and improve soil structure.
