The concentrated formulation is based on rapeseed oil and controls aphids including greenfly and blackfly, whitefly, scale insects, mealybugs, red spider mites and other mites. Effects can be seen within one day, making it a practical treatment when pests first appear.

How to Use

Mixing

Shake the bottle well before use.

Using the measuring cap, add:

20ml concentrate per 1 litre of water.

Mix and use the prepared solution immediately in a pressurised sprayer.

Spraying

Spray evenly to wet both the upper and lower surfaces of the leaves. Comprehensive coverage is important, particularly on leaf undersides where pests often congregate.

Wash away any run-off that lands on desirable surfaces, as staining may occur if the solution is allowed to dry.

Clean spraying equipment thoroughly immediately after use.

When to Apply

Spray at the first sign of insects or symptoms.

Where further treatment is required, repeat applications at 7–10 day intervals, up to a maximum of 3 treatments per crop.

For best results, spray in the early morning or early evening, avoiding bright sunshine.

Do not use during periods of high temperature above 25°C, when temperatures may become high or during periods of intense light.

BugClear Fruit & Veg is suitable for same-day spray and eat use on permitted fruit and vegetable crops when applied according to the label.

Wash harvested produce thoroughly before eating or preparing it.

Plant Sensitivity

Some plants may be sensitive to oil-based treatments.

Before treating a large or valuable collection, test a small sample of plants and leave for at least 2 weeks to check for sensitivity.

Do not treat sensitive floral plants with delicate foliage, including:

Good to Know

On larger fruit trees, complete spray coverage may not be practical. Where pest populations are already widespread, the product may therefore not provide complete control.
