Place in the brightest spot available, ideally on a sunny windowsill or in a room with plenty of natural light. Rotate the pot occasionally to encourage balanced growth.
Allow the compost to dry out completely before watering. Water thoroughly, then allow excess water to drain away. Reduce watering significantly during autumn and winter.
Normal household humidity is ideal. Cacti prefer dry air and do not require misting.
Apply a cactus fertiliser once a month during spring and summer. Feeding is generally unnecessary during winter.
This is a mixed assortment of cactus species. The plant supplied may differ in shape, size, spine pattern and colour from those shown, but all selections have similar growing requirements.
Handle with care, as many cactus species have sharp spines.
