Campsis 'Pink Panther'

Confirmed format: 15cm Pot

Plant Highlights: Soft peachy-pink trumpet flowers • Vigorous self-clinging climber • Long flowering season • Excellent for warm, sunny walls • Attractive to bees and other pollinators

Overview

Campsis 'Pink Panther' is a distinctive trumpet vine grown for its large clusters of soft peachy-pink, trumpet-shaped flowers – an unusual colour in a group traditionally known for orange and red blooms. Flowering from mid to late summer and often continuing until the first frosts, it brings a bold, tropical feel to sheltered gardens. Recognised as the first pink-flowered Campsis selection, its vigorous growth and glossy green, pinnate foliage allow it to quickly cover walls, fences and pergolas. The self-clinging stems attach readily to suitable surfaces, reducing the need for tying in.

Why We Love It

'Pink Panther' offers the exotic appearance of a tropical climber while being suitable for growing outdoors in Ireland when given a warm, sheltered location. The unusual pink flowers provide a fresh alternative to traditional trumpet vines and create a spectacular display over many weeks.
