‘Morellenfeuer’ is a German cooking cherry producing heavy crops of dark red, sharp fruits ideal for pies, jam and juice. It is generally self-fertile and crops well even in cooler climates.

How to Plant

Plant in Fertile, well-drained soil; tolerates slightly heavier soils better than sweet cherries. in a position with Full sun, though it will tolerate very light shade.. Dig a generous planting hole, mix in organic matter, and water thoroughly after planting. Apply a mulch around the base to help conserve moisture and suppress weeds.
