Overview
‘Rubina’ is a selected black chokeberry valued for its impressive spring blossom, fiery autumn colour and masses of vitamin-rich dark berries. It forms a neat, upright shrub that looks good in mixed borders, hedges or dedicated edible gardens.

How to Plant
Plant in Moist but well-drained soil; happy in loam, sand or light clay. in a position with Full sun or light shade.. Dig a generous planting hole, mix in organic matter, and water thoroughly after planting. Apply a mulch around the base to help conserve moisture and suppress weeds.
Care Tips
- Water regularly in the first two seasons to establish a deep root system.
- Prune after leaf-fall by removing 1–3 of the oldest stems to promote young growth.
- Mulch with compost or leaf mould in spring to conserve moisture.
