The declared formulation is Compound Fertiliser 7:4:10.2 containing magnesium with trace elements. Suitable for both established and newly planted clematis, the pellets are simply spread around the base of the plant, worked into the soil and watered thoroughly.

How to Use

Established Clematis

Apply 60g/m² in March. Spread the pellets evenly around the base of the plant, work them into the soil and then water thoroughly.

Repeat the application every three months during the growing season.

Newly Planted Clematis

Keep newly planted clematis well watered during dry weather, particularly through late spring and early summer.

Once the plant is growing vigorously, apply 60g/m² evenly around its base. Work the pellets into the soil and water thoroughly after feeding.

Measuring

As a practical guide, one small gloved handful is approximately 30g, so two small handfuls are approximately the recommended 60g quantity. For accurate application over an area, measure the required amount according to the 60g/m² rate.

Avoid allowing fertiliser pellets to lodge on the plant's leaves or stems.
