Overview

Clematis 'Sarah Elizabeth' is a compact, deciduous climber from the Boulevard® series, bred to produce an abundance of large, soft pink flowers with striking deep red anthers. Flowering from early to midsummer and producing a second flush from late summer into early autumn, it offers an exceptionally long season of colour. Its naturally compact habit makes it particularly well suited to patios, courtyards and smaller gardens. Unlike more vigorous clematis, 'Sarah Elizabeth' flowers freely from near the base of the plant to the tips of its stems, creating an impressive display even on shorter supports. It is equally at home growing through an obelisk, over a small trellis or climbing amongst shrubs.

Why We Love It

'Sarah Elizabeth' combines the elegance of large-flowered clematis with a manageable size, making it easy to enjoy even in compact gardens. Its long flowering season and neat habit provide reliable colour without overwhelming nearby plants.

Watering & Feeding Water regularly while establishing and feed during the growing season to encourage repeat flowering.
Containers This cultivar is suitable for growing in large containers as well as in the ground.
