Filling the Feeders

Fill each feeder with its appropriate wild bird food. Use the seed feeder for suitable seed or seed mixtures, the peanut feeder for wild bird peanuts and the dedicated suet feeders for suitable suet balls and cakes.

Whole peanuts should always be offered from a suitable mesh peanut feeder rather than provided loose, particularly during the breeding season.

Positioning

Place the station where birds have good visibility around the feeding area, ideally with suitable trees, hedges or shrubs within reach for cover.
