Position the Daisy Grubber at the base of the unwanted daisy or weed and work the head carefully into the soil around the plant.
Use controlled leverage to loosen and lift the weed from the lawn, aiming to remove as much of the root as practical while keeping disturbance to the surrounding turf to a minimum.
Firm any loosened turf back into position after removing the weed.
Weeding is generally easier when the ground is moist enough for the tool to penetrate the soil without excessive force.
Work carefully around individual weeds rather than disturbing a large area of turf. Removing weeds before they have an opportunity to spread seed can also help reduce future infestations.
