Dieffenbachia, also known by its common name “dumb cane plant,” is a captivating and popular houseplant that originates from the rich soils and warm climates of South America and the West Indies in the Caribbean. Its appeal lies in its stunning foliage, which sports dark green leaves often edged or marbled with cream or white hues.

Supplied in a 24cm pot. Plant is approx 60cm tall

Key Features:

• Foliage:  Large oval leaves with intricate markings
• Height: 1-8 foot
• Best placement: Bright but indirect light is best. Will tolerate a good amount of shade
• Care requirements: Water when soil has almost fully dried out.

Its nickname ‘dumb cane plant’ is ascribed to the sap it produces; when it comes into contact with the throat, it can cause temporary speechlessness.
