Echeveria elegans – P11 Pot
Plant Highlights: Elegant blue-grey succulent rosettes • Compact, symmetrical growth • Excellent for bright windowsills • Drought tolerant once established • Easy to care for
Overview
Echeveria elegans, commonly known as the Mexican Snowball, is a compact succulent admired for its perfectly formed rosettes of fleshy blue-grey leaves. Its neat, geometric shape makes it a striking addition to windowsills, desks and indoor plant displays, whether grown on its own or grouped with other succulents.
Over time, healthy plants may produce offsets around the base, gradually forming attractive clusters. In suitable conditions, mature plants can also send up slender flower stems bearing soft pink blooms with yellow tips.

Growing Guide
Place in a bright position where it receives plenty of natural light. It thrives in bright, indirect light and will also benefit from several hours of gentle direct sun each day. Allow the compost to dry out completely between waterings, taking extra care not to overwater during winter.
Use a free-draining cactus or succulent compost and a pot with drainage holes to help prevent excess moisture around the roots. Water the compost rather than directly into the centre of the rosette to reduce the risk of rot.
Indoor Placement
Echeveria elegans is ideal for living rooms, home offices and bright kitchens, where it can enjoy abundant natural light. Its compact size makes it perfect for windowsills, shelves and desks.
Why We Love It
The beautifully symmetrical rosettes and soft blue-grey colouring give this succulent a calm, architectural presence. It is an excellent choice for anyone looking to add long-lasting structure and texture to a bright indoor space.
Good to Know
Mature plants often produce small offsets around the base, which can be left to form a larger clump or carefully separated to grow new plants.
