Elaeagnus × ebbingei 'Viveleg' is a dense evergreen shrub prized for its handsome variegated foliage. The leathery, dark green leaves are edged with bright golden-yellow margins, while the undersides are silvery, creating attractive contrast throughout the year. Professionally trained onto a 90 × 50cm espalier frame, it provides an instant architectural feature with dependable evergreen screening.
In autumn, discreet creamy-white flowers appear amongst the foliage, filling the surrounding area with a sweet fragrance. If pollinated, these may be followed by small ornamental fruits.
