Strong carbon steel: heat treated and hardened for strength and durability.
Protected finish: powder coating improves resistance to rust, scratches and demanding soil conditions.
Comfortable digging angle: the forward-tilted handle is ergonomically positioned for easier use.

Place the blade where you want to dig and use the treaded upper edge to comfortably apply foot pressure. Push the blade into the ground, then draw the handle back to lift and turn the soil.
Work methodically across the area, breaking up larger clods as required.
The smaller border-spade head is particularly useful for working between established plants and in confined beds where a full-size digging spade can be awkward.
Use it for preparing planting areas, turning soil and general border maintenance, taking care around bulbs and established root systems.
The spade can be used to turn and loosen soil before planting and to incorporate suitable compost or soil improvers into beds and borders.
