How to Use

General Soil Improvement

Spread a layer approximately 5cm deep over the area to be improved and thoroughly dig or fork it into the top 15–20cm of soil.

For best results, mix the manure evenly through the existing soil rather than leaving concentrated pockets around plant roots.

Planting Trees & Shrubs

Prepare a planting hole suitable for the plant's root system. Mix the Farmyard Manure thoroughly with the excavated garden soil before using the mixture to backfill around the root ball.

Firm gently after planting and water thoroughly.

Roses

When preparing ground for roses, incorporate Farmyard Manure thoroughly into the surrounding soil to increase its organic matter content and improve growing conditions.

Vegetables & Flowers
