Plant Highlights: A selection of Rubber Plant varieties • Bold evergreen foliage • Upright, architectural growth • Easy to grow in bright indoor spaces

Overview

This mixed selection of Ficus elastica (Rubber Plant) brings together a range of attractive foliage forms, each chosen for its bold leaves and strong upright habit. Supplied in a 14cm pot, each plant offers a stylish way to introduce lasting greenery to your home or workspace.

As this is a mixed assortment, the foliage colour and variegation will vary between plants. Depending on availability, you may receive a green-leaved or variegated variety, but every plant shares the same reliable growth habit and care requirements that make Rubber Plants among the most popular indoor foliage plants.

Growing Guide

Light

Position in bright, indirect light for healthy growth. Variegated selections benefit from brighter conditions to maintain their leaf colouring, while green forms are generally a little more tolerant of lower light.

Watering

Allow the top few centimetres of compost to dry before watering thoroughly. Ensure excess water drains away freely and reduce watering during the cooler months when growth slows.

Compost

Use a free-draining houseplant compost in a pot with good drainage. Repot only when the plant becomes root-bound, increasing the pot size gradually.

Routine Care

Clean the leaves occasionally with a damp cloth to remove dust and rotate the plant every few weeks for even growth. Avoid sudden changes in temperature or position, which can lead to temporary leaf drop.

Indoor Placement

Suitable for bright living rooms, home offices, conservatories and other well-lit indoor spaces. Keep away from cold draughts, radiators and harsh midday sunshine through glass.

Good to Know

As this is a mixed product, the exact variety, leaf colour and variegation cannot be selected and will vary from plant to plant. Care requirements are similar across all included Ficus elastica varieties. Like other Ficus, the milky sap can irritate skin and should be kept away from pets and children.
