Indoor Placement

Light

Place in bright, indirect light for the healthiest growth. It can tolerate a little gentle morning or evening sun, but prolonged strong midday sunshine may scorch the leaves.

Temperature

Thrives in normal household temperatures and prefers a consistent environment away from cold draughts, radiators and sudden temperature changes.

Watering

Water when the top few centimetres of compost feel dry. Allow excess water to drain away freely and avoid leaving the pot sitting in water. During the darker winter months, growth slows and watering requirements are usually reduced.

Humidity

Average indoor humidity is generally suitable, although the plant benefits from slightly higher humidity, particularly in centrally heated homes.
