Overview

Grow It Bamboo Canes 60cm (2ft) – 20 Pack provide a simple, natural solution for supporting plants in pots, beds and borders. At approximately 60cm long, these compact canes are particularly useful for smaller plants and situations where a tall support would be unnecessary.

Made from natural, cleaned and graded bamboo, the canes can be positioned individually alongside plants or combined to create a low growing frame. Their natural appearance blends discreetly into planting while providing practical support as stems and shoots develop.

Why We Love It

• Compact 60cm length – ideal for smaller plants and container displays.

• 20 canes per bundle – plenty for supporting several plants.

• Natural bamboo – an unobtrusive alternative to highly visible artificial supports.

• Approx. 6–10mm diameter – lightweight and easy to position.

• Cleaned and graded – prepared for practical garden use.

• Versatile – suitable for pots as well as beds and borders.

How to Use

Push the bamboo cane securely into the compost or soil beside the plant, taking care to avoid unnecessary damage to the root system.

Gently secure stems to the cane using soft garden twine or suitable plant ties. Leave enough room for the stem to increase in diameter as it grows.

For wider plants or groups of plants, use several canes together to create a simple supporting frame and connect them with garden twine where required.

Check ties periodically during the growing season and loosen or reposition them before they begin to restrict the plant.

Perfect For

• Potted plants

• Smaller climbing plants

• Young shrubs

• Flowers requiring additional support

• Vegetable plants

• Beds and borders

• Container gardening

• Low growing frames

• General plant training and support

Good to Know

Bamboo is a natural material, so individual canes can vary slightly in diameter, colour, straightness and appearance. These variations are normal.

At 60cm / 2ft, this is one of the more compact sizes in the Grow It bamboo cane range and is particularly useful where taller 120cm, 180cm or 240cm supports would be excessive.

Where exposed cane ends could present an eye-level hazard, suitable cane toppers or eye guards can be fitted.

Care & Storage

Check plant ties regularly and adjust them as stems grow.

After use, brush away loose soil and plant debris from canes that remain in reusable condition and allow them to dry.

Store spare or reusable bamboo canes in a dry, sheltered and well-ventilated location.
