Insert the bamboo hoops directly into the ground or container compost, ideally while plants are still small and actively growing.
For individual long-stemmed plants, position a hoop so developing stems can grow naturally through and around the support.
For larger or spreading plants, use several hoops together to create a domed frame. New stems and shoots can be gently secured to the bamboo with garden twine where additional support is needed.
The hoops can also be combined to create an obelisk-style support for suitable climbing plants.

For best results, install the hoops while plants are still small and growing. This allows developing stems to grow naturally around the support and avoids having to force mature growth into position later.
The 60cm / 24in size is the most compact option in the Grow It Bamboo Hoops range, which also includes 90cm, 120cm and 150cm sizes.
Because bamboo is a natural material, individual hoops can vary slightly in colour, shape and appearance.
Check supported plants regularly and adjust any garden twine or ties as stems develop.
At the end of the growing season, remove loose soil and plant debris from hoops that remain suitable for reuse and allow them to dry thoroughly.
Store reusable bamboo supports somewhere dry and sheltered between growing seasons.
