Overview
‘Captivator’ is a modern, almost thornless red gooseberry bred for sweet dessert-quality fruit and easier picking. It carries green fruit that ripens to rosy red, ideal for eating fresh from the bush as well as for pies and jams.

How to Plant
Plant in Fertile, moist but well-drained soil enriched with organic matter. in a position with Full sun or very light shade.. Dig a generous planting hole, mix in organic matter, and water thoroughly after planting. Apply a mulch around the base to help conserve moisture and suppress weeds.
Care Tips
- Winter prune to an open, goblet-shaped bush to allow light and airflow.
- Remove low, sprawling branches that trail on the ground.
- Water in dry spells, particularly in late spring as fruit is swelling.
