How to Plant

Plant in Free-draining soil; avoid waterlogged sites. in a position with Full sun is essential for good ripening.. Dig a generous planting hole, mix in organic matter, and water thoroughly after planting. Apply a mulch around the base to help conserve moisture and suppress weeds.

• Provide strong supports and train canes along wires or a pergola.
• Winter prune to a simple, clear framework; summer prune to control vigour.
