Heuchera 'Timeless Night'
2L Pot
Plant Highlights: Rich near-black evergreen foliage • Elegant pink flower spikes over a long season • Compact, tidy habit • Excellent for borders and patio containers • Outstanding foliage contrast
Heuchera 'Timeless Night' is a striking evergreen perennial, grown for its exceptionally dark, glossy foliage and elegant sprays of medium-pink flowers. The almost black leaves create dramatic contrast in planting schemes, while the airy flower stems rise above the foliage from late spring into summer, adding movement and colour.
Part of the Timeless Series, this compact coral bell is valued for its long flowering period and neat, clump-forming habit. It is equally at home in mixed borders, woodland-style planting and containers, providing year-round foliage interest with colourful seasonal blooms. At maturity, the foliage forms a mound approximately 20–25cm high, with flowering stems reaching 40–45cm, and a spread of around 35–45cm.

Plant in full sun or partial shade. In sunnier locations, maintain consistent soil moisture, while partial shade is beneficial in hotter or more exposed gardens.
Water regularly during establishment. Once established, water during prolonged dry periods, especially for container-grown plants.
Grow in fertile, humus-rich, well-drained soil enriched with organic matter. Avoid prolonged winter waterlogging.
Fully hardy in Ireland and the UK. Remove damaged or weathered foliage in late winter before fresh growth begins, and ensure good drainage to protect the crown during wet winter conditions.
Remove spent flower stems to keep the plant tidy and encourage continued flowering. Divide established clumps every few years if required to maintain vigour.
The dark foliage provides a striking backdrop for neighbouring flowering perennials and remains attractive throughout the year. The nectar-rich pink flowers are also attractive to bees and other pollinating insects during the flowering season.
