Growing Guide
Plant in fertile, moisture-retentive but well-drained soil. Hostas thrive in partial shade and will also grow in full shade. Keep the soil evenly moist during dry periods, particularly during the first growing season and when grown in containers.
Remove faded flower stems after blooming if desired and cut back old foliage once it has died down in autumn. Apply a mulch in spring to help retain soil moisture and improve soil structure.
