Hosta Purple Heart
Confirmed format: 3 litre pot
Hosta 'Purple Heart' is a charming compact herbaceous perennial prized for its unique foliage and stem contrast. Bred by Gary Gossett, it features glossy mid-green leaves held on dark maroon to near-black petioles with distinct red-purple flushed leaf bases. From July to September, it produces delicate pale purple and lavender flowers that rise above the foliage mound. With its clumping habit and excellent shade tolerance, it makes a wonderful addition to woodland gardens, shaded borders, and patio containers.
