Kentia Palm - Indoor Plant

Howea Forsteriana or the kentia palm is a tall palm with arching, glossy dark green fronds that will bring a touch of lush elegance to any room. Native to Lord Howe Island, a tiny island off the eastern coast of Australia, it’s also known as the thatch palm, sentry palm and paradise palm. They are tolerant of some neglect, so is a good plant for beginners. It's a good air purifier too, capable of filtering and purifying stagnant air. It's not toxic to dogs or cats.

Supplied in a 21cm pot, plant stands approx 110cm

• Foliage: Long arching leaves on tall stems, with deeply divided foliage
• Height: 1-8 foot
• Best placement: Bright but indirect light is best, will tolerate some shade
• Care requirements: Keep well watered if allowed to dry out leaves will brown. Keep away from drafts. They will appreciate humidity
