Plant Highlights: Masses of pure white spring flowers • Evergreen foliage providing year-round structure • Low-growing, spreading habit • Excellent for rockeries and border edges • Attracts bees and early pollinating insects

Overview

Iberis sempervirens, commonly known as Evergreen Candytuft, is a low-growing evergreen perennial that produces abundant clusters of brilliant white flowers in spring. The blooms form a carpet of colour above dense cushions of glossy dark green foliage, creating a striking display in rockeries, gravel gardens, raised beds, and along the front of sunny borders. Its spreading habit makes it ideal for softening the edges of paths and walls, while the evergreen foliage continues to provide structure and interest throughout the year.

Why We Love It

Evergreen Candytuft offers one of the brightest spring displays for sunny gardens while remaining attractive throughout the year. Its neat, spreading habit makes it an excellent choice for edging borders, cascading over walls, or filling gaps between paving and stones.
