Growing Guide
Position
Plant in a sunny position where it will receive plenty of direct sunlight. Choose a sheltered location if possible, as the tall flower spikes can benefit from protection against strong winds.
Soil
Grow in fertile, well-drained soil enriched with organic matter. Avoid heavy, waterlogged ground, particularly during winter.
Watering

Seasonal Care
Remove faded flower spikes to encourage a possible second flush of flowers later in the season. Cut the foliage back once it has naturally died down in autumn or leave it until late winter before tidying.
