Plant in a warm, sunny and sheltered position. Oleanders perform best where they receive plenty of direct sunlight and are protected from cold, drying winds.
Grow in fertile, well-drained soil or a quality container compost with excellent drainage. Avoid sites that remain wet during winter.
Water consistently while the plant is establishing. Container-grown plants will need more frequent watering during warm weather, while established plants in the ground are relatively drought tolerant.
Feed during the growing season to encourage flowering. Prune lightly after flowering to maintain shape and remove any dead or damaged growth.
This is a mixed product, so the flower colour of the plant supplied cannot be guaranteed and may vary between white, pink, red or other shades included in the mix.
All parts of Nerium oleander are toxic if ingested, and the sap may irritate the skin. Wear gloves when pruning and keep the plant away from children and pets.
