Olea Europaea
Olea europaea, commonly called common olive, is an evergreen tree that is native to the Mediterranean region. It typically grows to 20-30' tall with a rounded crown. Young trees have smooth gray bark, but trunks and branches will gnarl somewhat picturesquely with age.
Perfect as a specimen plant in your garden or in a pot, olive trees bring a Mediterranean, exotic feel to an area with their unique bark and grey-green leaves.

- Flowers: Small, white-yellow flowers which are highly attractive to bees can cover the plant mid-summer if given ideal conditions. These will then grow into the olive fruit.
