Pachyveria 'Corvus' – supplied in a P10.5 pot

Plant Highlights: Sculptural rosette foliage • Blue-grey succulent leaves • Compact indoor display plant • Low-maintenance care requirements

Overview

Pachyveria 'Corvus' is a compact succulent hybrid grown for its attractive rosettes of thick, fleshy leaves with a soft blue-grey colouring. Its symmetrical form and subtle tones make it an excellent choice for bright windowsills, shelves and contemporary indoor plant displays.

Like many succulents, it stores water in its leaves, allowing it to cope well with dry conditions when grown in suitable light and free-draining compost. Its compact size makes it ideal for adding texture and structure to smaller indoor spaces.

Indoor Placement

Place in the brightest position available, ideally close to a sunny window where it receives plenty of natural light. Good light helps maintain the compact rosette shape and healthy foliage colour.

Avoid dark corners and prolonged damp conditions. Keep away from cold draughts, particularly during the cooler months.

Growing Guide

Water sparingly, allowing the compost to dry out completely before watering again. During autumn and winter, reduce watering further as growth naturally slows. Always allow excess water to drain away freely.

Use a free-draining cactus or succulent compost and feed occasionally during the growing season with a suitable succulent fertiliser.

Good to Know

The powdery coating often seen on succulent leaves is a natural protective layer and should not be rubbed away. Handle the leaves carefully, as the coating and foliage can mark easily.
