A true classic with vintage colouring. Baby pink blooms, with a sunshine yellow centre which catches the eye and creates a truly beautiful display. The plants are well-branched and compact, making them perfect for baskets and containers. Flowers grow to 5-6cm wide.
Sow seed on the surface of lightly firmed, moist seed compost in pots or trays. Lightly cover the seed with a fine sprinkling of vermiculite. Place in a propagator or warm place, and keep at a temperature of between 21-25ºC (70-75ºF). After sowing, do not exclude light as this helps germination. Keep the surface of the compost moist but not waterlogged; germination will usually take 10-21 days.
When large enough to handle, transplant seedlings into 7.5cm (3in) pots or trays. Gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions for a few weeks before planting out after all risk of frost has passed, 30cm (12in) apart, or plant into containers.
