Petunia Rainbow Mixed F2 Hybrid

F2 seed offers superb quality plants at a fraction of the usual price. These fine, vigorous, free-flowering plants offer twelve of the best colours, including rose, salmon, scarlet, crimson, yellow, light blue, white and violet blue.

Sow seed on the surface of a good free draining seed compost. Cover with a fine sprinkling of vermiculite. Place in a propagator or seal container inside a polythene bag and place at 20-25˚C (68-77˚F) until after germination which usually takes 10-21 days. Do not exclude light as this helps germination.

Transplant seedlings into trays or 7.5cm (3in) pots once large enough to handle. Grow on in cooler conditions for 10-15 days before planting out after all risk of frost, 23-30cm (9-12in) apart.
