Overview

Phalaenopsis, commonly known as the Moth Orchid, is one of the most popular flowering houseplants, prized for its graceful arching stems and exceptionally long-lasting blooms. This mixed selection offers a range of flower colours and patterns, making each plant unique.

As this is a mixed product, the exact flower colour and markings will vary. All plants share the same elegant form, producing blooms that can remain attractive for many weeks with the right care. Their compact growth and refined appearance make them ideal for bringing colour to living spaces, offices and bedrooms.

Plant Details

Indoor Placement

These orchids thrive in bright rooms with filtered light and are particularly well suited to:

• Living rooms
• Bedrooms
• Home offices

Avoid direct midday sunshine, cold draughts and placing plants close to radiators or other heat sources.

Growing Guide

Watering

Water when the bark growing medium is almost dry, allowing excess water to drain away completely. Avoid leaving water sitting around the crown of the plant.

Humidity

Average household humidity is suitable, although slightly higher humidity encourages healthy growth. Ensure good air circulation around the plant.

Feeding

Feed with a specialist orchid fertiliser during active growth, following the manufacturer's instructions.

Maintenance

Remove spent flower spikes once flowering has finished. Healthy plants can produce fresh flower spikes and rebloom with good care.
