Philodendron hederaceum 'Brasil'
12cm Pot
Plant Highlights: Heart-shaped green and lime variegated leaves • Climbing or trailing growth habit • Easy to grow and adaptable • Brings vibrant foliage to indoor spaces
Philodendron hederaceum 'Brasil' is a colourful cultivar of the popular Heartleaf Philodendron, grown for its striking variegated foliage. Each glossy, heart-shaped leaf features unique splashes of rich green and bright lime-yellow, giving the plant a vibrant, tropical appearance throughout the year.
Its naturally trailing stems look beautiful cascading from shelves and hanging planters, while providing a moss pole or support encourages it to climb, creating a fuller, more vertical display. Easy to care for and adaptable to typical home conditions, it is an excellent choice for both new and experienced houseplant enthusiasts.

Place in bright, indirect light to maintain the best leaf colour. It will tolerate moderate light levels, although the variegation may become less pronounced. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight, which can scorch the foliage.
Water when the top few centimetres of compost feel dry. Allow excess water to drain away and avoid leaving the plant standing in water.
Average household humidity is suitable, although slightly higher humidity will encourage lush growth. It grows particularly well in bright bathrooms or kitchens with natural light.
Feed monthly during spring and summer with a balanced liquid houseplant fertiliser. Reduce feeding during autumn and winter as growth slows.
Rotate the pot every few weeks to encourage even growth. If stems become too long, they can be trimmed to maintain a compact shape, and healthy cuttings can be rooted to grow new plants.
Note: Like other philodendrons, Philodendron hederaceum 'Brasil' should be kept out of reach of pets and young children, as all parts of the plant are harmful if ingested.
