Photinia × fraseri 'Little Fenna' is a compact evergreen shrub grown for its vibrant flushes of brilliant red young foliage, which gradually mature to glossy deep green. Its naturally neat habit makes it an excellent choice where the colourful effect of a traditional Photinia is desired in a smaller space.

The colourful new growth provides repeated interest through the growing season, bringing contrast to both contemporary and traditional planting schemes.

Plant in fertile, well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. Full sun generally encourages the richest colour in the new foliage, while partial shade is also suitable in many gardens.
Water regularly while establishing and during extended dry periods, particularly for container-grown plants. Apply a mulch in spring to help conserve moisture and improve soil structure, keeping it clear of the base of the stems.
Lightly trim after the main flush of growth to encourage fresh red foliage and maintain a dense, tidy shape. Remove any dead or damaged branches as required.
'Little Fenna' delivers the colourful appeal of Photinia in a naturally compact form. Its repeated flushes of vibrant red foliage provide long-lasting interest without the need for frequent pruning, making it an excellent choice for smaller gardens and patio planting.
Good to Know: The 5 litre pot refers to the container size and the 30–40 cm measurement refers to the approximate supplied height at the time of sale, not the mature size of the shrub. Light pruning after new growth helps encourage further colourful foliage flushes throughout the growing season.
