Growing Guide

Plant in acidic, humus-rich soil that remains moist but drains freely. If your garden soil is alkaline, grow in a large container using ericaceous compost to provide the conditions this shrub prefers.

A sheltered position away from cold, drying winds helps protect the evergreen foliage and supports healthy growth. Water regularly during establishment and during dry periods, particularly when grown in containers.

Seasonal Care
