Growing Guide

Position Full sun or partial shade, best grown in a sheltered position to protect the colourful new foliage from cold, drying winds.
Soil Moist, humus-rich, well-drained acidic soil. If growing in a container, use ericaceous compost.
Watering Moderate water need. Water regularly to establish and maintain moist soil conditions.
Mulching Mulch annually with organic matter suitable for acid-loving plants.
Pruning Requires very little pruning to maintain its natural shape. Remove faded flower clusters after flowering if desired.
