Soil

Plant in fertile, well-drained soil. Avoid areas that remain waterlogged during winter.

Winter Care

These shrubs are suitable for year-round planting in Irish gardens when grown in well-drained soil. Apply a mulch after planting to help retain moisture and suppress weeds during establishment.
