Raspberry 'Grand Heritage' (Rubus idaeus)

Overview

‘Grand Heritage’ is a vigorous primocane raspberry that can produce two crops a year in good conditions—one in late summer on new canes and a lighter flush the following early summer if some canes are left uncut.

How to Plant

Plant in Fertile, moisture-retentive but well-drained soil. in a position with Best in full sun.. Dig a generous planting hole, mix in organic matter, and water thoroughly after planting. Apply a mulch around the base to help conserve moisture and suppress weeds.

Care Tips

  • For a single autumn crop, cut all canes to ground level in late winter.
  • For two crops, leave some canes to fruit again the following early summer, then remove them.
  • Keep well watered in dry spells and mulch annually.
