‘Hortblue Poppins’ is a compact highbush blueberry with an upright habit, ideal for containers and smaller gardens. It produces attractive blossom followed by good crops of tasty berries on a relatively small plant.

How to Plant

Plant in Ericaceous compost or acidic soil with good drainage. in a position with Full sun to light shade.. Dig a generous planting hole, mix in organic matter, and water thoroughly after planting. Apply a mulch around the base to help conserve moisture and suppress weeds.

Care Tips

  • Grow in a pot 30–40cm across using ericaceous compost.
  • Water frequently in summer, never allowing the compost to dry out completely.
  • Feed with an ericaceous liquid feed every few weeks from spring to midsummer.
  • Light pruning only, removing weak or crossing stems.
