Rockplants Mix – Mixed Alpine Selection (P8.5 Pot, Approx. 15 cm)
Plant Highlights: Mixed selection of hardy alpine plants • Compact, low-growing habit • Ideal for rockeries, gravel gardens and containers • Long season of interest • Excellent for well-drained, sunny positions
Rockplants Mix is a mixed selection of alpine plants chosen for their compact growth and suitability for rockeries, raised beds, alpine troughs and gravel gardens. As this is a mixed product, each plant may be a different species or variety, offering a changing selection of foliage, flowers and textures throughout the season.
Supplied in a P8.5 pot at approximately 15 cm in height, these versatile alpines are perfect for filling gaps between stones, edging pathways or creating colourful displays in containers. Their naturally compact habit makes them particularly well suited to smaller gardens and sunny planting areas with excellent drainage.

Plant in a sunny position with sharply drained soil. Alpines generally thrive where excess winter moisture drains away quickly, making them ideal for raised beds, rockeries and alpine containers.
Water regularly while plants establish, then only during prolonged dry spells. Avoid heavy, waterlogged soils, particularly during winter, as good drainage is essential for long-term success.
Many alpine plants produce nectar-rich flowers that attract bees and other pollinating insects, although this will vary depending on the variety supplied.
A mixed selection brings variety and flexibility to the garden, making it easy to create natural-looking planting combinations with contrasting foliage, flower colours and textures. Rockplants are excellent for adding interest to spaces where larger perennials would be out of scale.
Good to Know: The P8.5 pot size and 15 cm height refer to the plant as supplied and not its mature size. As this is a mixed selection, flower colour, foliage, flowering season and mature habit will vary between individual plants. Only characteristics common to alpine plants suitable for rock gardens have been described.
