Salvia (Mixed Varieties) – 2 Litre Pot
Plant Highlights: Long-lasting summer flowers • Mixed selection of vibrant flower colours • Excellent for borders and patio containers • Highly attractive to bees and other pollinating insects • Upright, easy-to-combine garden perennial
Overview
Salvias are among the longest-flowering herbaceous perennials, producing elegant spikes of colourful flowers from early summer well into autumn. Their upright habit and aromatic foliage make them a valuable addition to mixed borders, gravel gardens and patio containers, where they pair beautifully with roses, ornamental grasses and other summer-flowering perennials.
This product is supplied as a mixed selection, so flower colour and variety will vary. Depending on the cultivar, flowers may be shades of purple, blue, pink, red or white.

Growing Guide
Plant in a sunny position in well-drained soil. Salvias thrive in warm, open locations and benefit from good drainage, particularly during winter. Water regularly while establishing, then only during prolonged dry spells once established.
Remove spent flower spikes throughout the season to encourage repeat flowering. Cut plants back in late winter or early spring as new growth begins, rather than in autumn, to help protect the crown over winter.
Why We Love It
Salvias provide months of colour with relatively little maintenance. Their vertical flower spikes add height and movement to planting schemes, while the aromatic foliage and wide range of flower colours make them easy to combine with other herbaceous perennials and ornamental grasses.
Wildlife
The nectar-rich flowers are highly attractive to bees, butterflies and other pollinating insects, providing an important food source throughout the flowering season.
