Overview
Dracaena trifasciata 'Laurentii', still widely known as Sansevieria 'Laurentii' or Snake Plant, is a striking evergreen houseplant grown for its stiff, upright leaves with distinctive grey-green banding and bright golden-yellow margins. Its architectural form makes it an excellent choice for adding year-round structure and colour to shelves, floors and tabletops.
Naturally slow growing and tolerant of a range of indoor conditions, this is a dependable foliage plant for both experienced growers and those new to houseplants. Its upright habit allows it to fit comfortably into smaller spaces while making a strong visual statement.

Growing Guide
Position in bright, indirect light for the strongest growth, although this plant also copes well in lower light than many houseplants. Avoid prolonged exposure to intense midday sun through glass.
Allow the compost to dry well before watering thoroughly, then let excess water drain away. During the cooler months, watering requirements reduce considerably. Overwatering is the most common cause of problems, so avoid leaving the pot standing in water.
Indoor Placement
This versatile houseplant is well suited to living rooms, bedrooms, home offices and hallways with natural light. Its upright growth makes it particularly useful where floor or shelf space is limited.
Good to Know
The fleshy leaves store moisture, allowing the plant to cope well with occasional missed waterings. Wipe the leaves occasionally with a soft, damp cloth to keep them free from dust and maintain their attractive appearance.
