Schlumbergera - Indoor Plant

Schlumbergera(Christmas cactus) are prized for their vibrant flowering display over the festive season, these popular houseplants are easy to grow and long lived. They come originally from tropical rainforests, so need a warm location, out of direct sun, and prefer humid air. 

Supplied in a 13cm pot, plants are approx 20cm tall.

• Flowers: Elongated bright white flowers cover the plant when in bloom
• Foliage: Pendulous shape with small rectangular leafs
• Height: 10cm-2foot
• Best placement: Will be happiest in semi shade
• Care requirements: Even though it is a cactus, this plant needs a good amount of water, especially when in flower. It also does not like full sun

It’s very easy to take cuttings from Christmas cacti, so once you have one plant, you can produce many more, which make ideal Christmas gifts
